Today We Celebrate Women’s Equality Day

A little over 50 years ago, a Joint Resolution of Congress was passed that designated August 26th as Women’s Equality Day. This date was selected to commemorate the certification of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution, granting women the right to vote. Women’s Equality Day also critically calls attention to the ongoing continuing efforts of women to gain full equality. Schnader salutes and honors all of the groundbreaking women who have helped shatter glass ceilings and all of the women who fight every day for equal rights. Schnader strives to be a part of real enduring change inside and outside the workplace.
