May 28, 2008 – Philadelphia, PA: Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP is proud to announce that Carl A. Solano and Keith E. Whitson are each recipients a 2008 Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA) Pro Bono Award in recognition of their respective records and dedication to pro bono work and public service.

“We are very proud of Carl and Keith and on behalf of the Firm, would like to congratulate both of them on this great honor,” said Chairman Ralph Wellington. “The on-going effort by both Carl and Keith to pursue pro bono projects and to include public service as part of their respective practices reflects and represents the ideals of our Firm, and especially those of two of our founders, Earl Harrison and Bernie Segal. Their commitment to pro bono work should serve as a model for all young attorneys.”

The PBA Pro Bono Awards – a program that is now in its 21st year – are presented annually to lawyers who have shown a strong and on-going commitment to the cause of pro bono and have worked to provide free legal services to those in need.
