Wellington Comments on Trend Toward Online Auctions for Legal Services

Schnader Chairman Ralph Wellington was quoted in an Oct. 31, 2005 article in The Legal Intelligencer, “Online Auctions Becoming More of a Reality for Area Firms.”  The article states growing popularity of using online auctions to reduce outside legal expenses.  “I still think it’s better for clients and lawyers to sit down together,” Ralph said, and added that he doesn’t think the law is being commoditized. “If clients decide this is how they are going to purchase, then okay, we need to play that game.”
