2016 EEO1 Reporting Requirements

Schnader and Exude, Inc. hosted the seminar “The New EEO1 Reporting Requirements” at the firm’s Philadelphia office on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Alison DiFlorio, President of HR at Exude, Inc., and Schnader’s Jo Bennett discussed the new rules proposed by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the U.S. Department of Labor.

Under the new rules, private companies that have 100 or more employees are required to report salary information, which federal officials can use to uncover pay discrimination. Ms. DiFlorio and Ms. Bennett explored the government’s use of reported pay data, as well as legal developments in compensation discrimination and best practices to prevent pay discrimination.
