A Study in Witness Examinations: Style and Substance – The Delicate Art of Cross…but with Challenging Witnesses

On June 4, 2009 by Schnader

Jonathan Stern, counsel in Schnader’s Washington, DC office, served as a panelist at a CLE seminar titled “Aviation on Trial!” held June 4 at the New York City Bar in New York, New York. The seminar was co-sponsored by the American Bar Association Section of Litigation Aviation Committee and the New York City Bar Committee on Aeronautics. The program examined significant legal and commercial issues in the aviation field. A faculty of accomplished trial lawyers presented mock openings, closings and cross-examinations, and a mock oral argument on contractual indemnity. An array of state and federal judges offered real-time feedback and judicial insight. Mr. Stern participated in a trial demonstration titled “A Study in Witness Examinations: Style and Substance – The Delicate Art of Cross…but with Challenging Witnesses.”
