Barry Alexander Presented at 10th IATA Cargo Claims and Loss Prevention Conference 2014

Partner Barry Alexander was a panelist at this year’s IATA Cargo Claims and Loss Prevention Conference, which took place November 4-6, 2014, in Singapore, and focused on the theme of Lessons From the Past – Preparing for the Future. On Wednesday, November 5, Mr. Alexander explored “Navigating the Transition to the e-Air Waybill” in a morning panel discussion. Then, on Thursday, November 6, he examined “The Issues That Keep us Awake at Night: A Discussion of the Issues that Lack Clear/Simple Answers.”

The Cargo Claims and Loss Prevention (CCLP) Conference promotes best practices and lively debate on current legal issues relating to the movement of air cargo. Attendees had the opportunity to participate in interactive break-out sessions stimulating claims handling cases; listen to and learn from a variety of knowledgeable and experienced professionals; and obtain insights from claims managers and lawyers through specific mentoring sessions.
