Campus Sexual Misconduct: Compliance, Prevention and Response

On May 20, 2015 by Schnader

Schnader hosted “Campus Sexual Misconduct: Compliance, Prevention & Response” at the firm’s Philadelphia office on Wednesday, May 20, 2015. As regulators and stakeholders increase their scrutiny and expectations regarding the prevention and response to sexual misconduct, it is imperative that higher education leaders fully understand their compliance obligations and associated risks and opportunities. Experienced attorneys, administrators, and communication professionals discussed the prevention and response to sexual misconduct, including crisis communications.

Panelists included Schnader attorneys Rebecca Lacher and Pedro Ramos, co-chair of the Higher Education Practice Group; Lori Doyle, senior vice-president of university communications, Drexel University; Maureen Rush, vice-president of public safety at the University of Pennsylvania; and Cameron Etezady, associate university counsel for Temple University.

A maximum of 1.5 substantive Pennsylvania CLE credits were available for this program. In addition, this program was approved for 2.0 general HRCI credit hours.

Seating was limited.
