On February 8, 2007, Denny Shupe presented “Cleared Direct to Federal Court: Why Aviation Cases Are More Likely Than Other Types to Take Flight from State Court” as part of the “2007 Product Liability Conference” sponsored by the Defense Research Institute (DRI)’s Product Liability Committee. Denny’s topics included rules governing jurisdiction and removal (including the “Well Pleaded Complaint” rule and most common exceptions to the rule).

The conference was held from February 7-9, 2007 at the New Orleans Marriott Hotel in New Orleans.
