David Struwe Moderates Title IX Debate for the Federalist Society

David Robert Struwe moderated an event for the Philadelphia Lawyers Chapter of the Federalist Society, “Title IX Debate with Samantha Harris and Brett Sokolow.” The virtual event took place on Thursday, June 25, 2020. The debate addressed different perspectives about whether the recently revised U.S. Department of Education Title IX regulations were needed, and if so, whether the revised regulations will result in fairer Title IX disciplinary proceedings.

Struwe is a litigation associate who concentrates his practice on aviation matters, criminal defense, internal investigations, insurance services, and financial services. Previously, he served as a Captain in the U.S. Army JAG Corps as a Special Victim Prosecutor, where he was responsible for prosecuting rape and sexual assault allegations. Struwe frequently writes on due process considerations in both military justice and Title IX proceedings.
