Hon. Timothy K. Lewis was the featured speaker for Constitution Day 2017 at Robert Morris University on Friday, September 15, 2017. As stated by the University, this is an especially noteworthy day on campus “to honor the U.S. Constitution . . . especially our favorite signer, Robert Morris.”
Lewis spoke about the fundamental beliefs and ideals that are the spirit of the Constitution. He told the students and faculty at Robert Morris University, “The Constitution is an instrument of self-governance. The people are its core. Its value reflects our values. What we believe about justice and fairness is enshrined in that document. Our willingness to live up to its promise defines who we are.”
