John Armstrong Memorial Golf ClassicOn August 13, 2013 by Schnader
The John Armstrong Memorial Golf Classic was held on October 21, 2013 at the Ramblewood Country Club in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. Funds raised at this event established an endowment at the Temple University Beasley School of Law which will award scholarships to well-deserving students.
The endowment honors the memory of John M. Armstrong, who worked his way through Temple Law School eventually becoming managing partner of the New Jersey office of Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP. Mr. Armstrong set an example for everyone who practices law or aspires to do so. He was a zealous and highly-skilled advocate, a wise counselor, a dedicated provider of pro bono services, a patient mentor and a generous and good friend to his colleagues. Those who were a part of his life were privileged – he had an enormous heart and a caring soul.
The John Armstrong Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization and donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.
