Karen Baillie Spoke on Title IX Issues

Partner Karen Baillie participated in a panel discussion on “Title IX: History, Scope, Current Issues” at Mercyhurst University in Erie, Pennsylvania on April 11, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. In recent years, students have filed an increasing number of sexual harassment or misconduct claims under the law. Some faculty members now argue that the protections afforded by Title IX against a hostile campus environment threaten academic free speech. The panel explored the educational, legal, and student life implications of Title IX.
