Kelo – The State and Federal Response

On April 23, 2006 by Schnader

On April 23, 2006 Steven Johnson presented “Kelo: The State and Federal Response,” at the International Municipal Lawyers Association conference in Washington, D.C. The discussion dealt with the decision in Kelo v. New London, a land-use law case argued before the United States Supreme Court in 2005. The case arose from a city’s use of eminent domain to condemn privately owned real property so that it could be used as part of a comprehensive redevelopment plan.
