Internal Investigations and Athletics Compliance in Higher Education

Laurel Brandstetter and Nicole Leach presented at the In-House Counsel Conference of the Association of Corporate Counsel Greater Philadelphia, addressing “Internal Investigations and Athletics Compliance in Higher Education.” The program focused on FERPA, Title IX, privacy concerns, legal privileges, and other issues affecting scrutiny of potential misconduct both publicly and by university governing boards.

Brandstetter is chair of Schnader’s Criminal Defense and Internal Investigations Practice Group. Leach’s Sports Law practice includes representing professional coaches and National Governing Bodies in the sports industry and drafting agreements for sporting events.
