Matthew Tamasco Spoke at 2016 SFIA Litigation, Regulatory & Risk Management Summit

Partner Matthew Tamasco, chair of the firm’s Sports Law Group, was a panelist at the 2016 Sports & Fitness Industry Association (SFIA) Litigation, Regulatory, & Risk Management Summit, February 1-2, 2016 in New Orleans. Mr. Tamasco discussed “The ‘Wild, Wild West’ of the Fitness Tracking Industry” on Tuesday, February 2. As the fitness tracking industry explodes, so do the many issues surrounding privacy, data ownership, and accuracy. Attendees learned how to keep pace with this rapidly evolving and expanding fitness product segment, and how to avoid pitfalls that can lead to costly litigation and liability.
