Schnader attorney Megan E. Harmon participated as a panelist for the Pittsburgh Diversity Council’s Leadership Conference on October 29, 2014. During the session entitled “Corporate Play Book,” Ms. Harmon and her fellow panelists discussed the professional challenges they faced and how to overcome obstacles in the corporate world.
This session was an extension of the conference theme: Imagine Inclusion! The purpose of this conference was to give attendees from the greater Pittsburgh area an opportunity to explore tools and resources to transform diversity awareness into actionable result—and equip them with essential skills to contribute to their organization’s goals.
Ms. Harmon is a partner in the Business Services Department, co-chair of the Environmental Practice Group, co-chair of the Energy Practice Group, co-chair of the Sustainability and Environmental Services Practice Group, and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. She concentrates her practice in business counseling, transactions, mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, project development, public-private partnerships and finance, and has extensive experience in contract negotiations, federal and state compliance matters, employment issues and procurement. In 2012, Ms. Harmon was selected by the National Diversity Council as one of the “Most Powerful and Influential Women of Pennsylvania.”
