On December 10, 2014 by Schnader

Kevin C. Taylor and Justine Kasznica will present a Bloomberg BNA Live Conference titled, “Navigating the Government Contracting and Regulatory Landscape: Legal Strategies for Successful Commercialization of Technologies in New Markets” on December 10, 2014.

The federal regulatory landscape must adapt to the increase of technology businesses, large and small, established and new, that are expanding into international markets or that are participating in emerging and innovative cross-border industries. The U.S. government recognizes the need for policies and regulations that encourage innovation and growth while at the same time meeting U.S. national security challenges and foreign policy objectives.

Drawing on examples from the commercial space, UAS, and cybersecurity industries, this breakfast briefing examines the legal and regulatory challenges facing technology companies in new markets and industries, the trends and best practices employed by these businesses, and the recent changes and trends in the federal regulatory landscape that aim to remove barriers to commercial growth.

Carissa Bryce Christensen of The Tauri Group LLC will be a co-presenter.
