Jay Evans presented “No Seriously – Using Nontraditional Methods Such as Comedy for Skills and Balance” at DRI’s virtual Asbestos Medicine Seminar on November 20, 2020.
Trying complex matters, arguing motions and appeals, and managing litigation portfolios are learned skills. Does working on being a better person make you a better lawyer, and therefore better able to tackle the challenges of your practice? With the help of real comedians and some of our favorite DRI colleagues, this program looked at how building alternative skill sets can help all of us serve our clients and keep our core competencies sharp.
Evans is a member of DRI’s Appellate Advocacy Committee and Toxic Torts and Environmental Law Committee.
