“Preparing for Upcoming Patent Law Changes” Practicing Law Institute Presentation
On September 12, 2012 by SchnaderRonald J. Ventola II, Joan T. Kluger, Stephenie W. Yeung and Andrew Chou, presented a complimentary webinar on Wednesday, September 12, 2012, which provided one hour of CLE credit. The webinar discussed new provisions that affect patentability during prosecution, changes to post-issuance review, and the new definitions of prior art, which generally broaden the list of events that might render a patent invalid. Changes to selected best practices and available procedures were also discussed.
