Schnader hosted “Protecting Your Intellectual Property in a Digital Age” at the firm’s Pittsburgh office on Tuesday, February 9, 2016. This roundtable took a closer look at the top ten threats higher education institutions faced in 2016. Our intellectual property and higher education attorneys teamed up to discuss protecting trademark assets and other interests from a variety of risks, including unauthorized uses, data security incidents, and more. Topics also included enforcement strategies, data security measures, and possible issues arising from an institution’s interactions with students, alumni organizations, vendors, and the community.
