Schnader and eXude, Inc. hosted “Nonprofit Mergers, Acquisitions & Restructures: How Prepared Is Your HR Team?” on Wednesday, September 25, 2013, in Schnader’s Philadelphia office from 8:30-10:30 AM. Marla K. Conley, Co-Chair of Schnader’s Nonprofit Organizations Practice Group, and Alison DiFlorio, President of Human Resources at eXude, Inc. discussed proactive HR strategies and legal considerations for organizations in planning for a merger, acquisition, or restructure including: 

  • understanding key legal considerations for entering into a restructure in the nonprofit sector;
  • learning critical legal issues involved in the structuring of a merger, acquisition, or other affiliation; and
  • identifying five steps to effectively manage HR processes during a restructure.
