Schnader Attorneys Present: Key Legal, Tax and Accounting Issues Impacting Early Stage Companies

Jon C. Hughes and Melissa S. Blanton, along with business advisors from EisnerAmper LLP, are conducting a series of presentations with The Incubators at BCC that addresses key legal, tax and accounting issues impacting early stage companies.

The presentation is titled “Issues Related to Choice of Entity and Formation and Issues Related to Financing,” which focuses on:

·         Taxation of different entity types (corporation, S corporation, LLC, LLP, partnership)

·         Tax considerations for founders, investors and employees

·         Use of a C corporation

·         Tax considerations in exit strategies

·         Sources of financing

·         Lender’s legal and accounting due diligence
