Schnader Hosts Green Building Alliance Strategic Plan Announcement

The Pittsburgh office of Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP hosted an event for the Green Building Alliance (“GBA”) on Wednesday, March 7, 2012. GBA unveiled a new strategic plan that will introduce several bold new initiatives for creating healthy and high-performance buildings and spaces in western Pennsylvania. During the breakfast briefing, Mike Schiller, GBA CEO, presented the organization’s new mission and enhanced programming and discuss the community-led initiative called Pittsburgh 2030, the new Green Schools Academy, and DASH (a performance-measurement, decision-making tool for existing buildings).

Founded in 1993 and headquartered in Pittsburgh, GBA is a nonprofit organization that strives to meet the ever-growing and ever-changing demands of the green building marketplace through multiple programs and initiatives. Ronald S. Cusano, partner in the Firm’s Pittsburgh office, is a member of the Board of Directors.
