W. Drew Kastner and Stephenie Wingyuen Yeung presented a CLE on “The Practical Impact of the SCOTUS Decision in the Fourth Estate Case” for the Copyright Society of the USA on July 23, 2019. Schnader also hosted this event.
The program addressed the Supreme Court’s Fourth Estate decision, and its practical implications from the perspective of in-house and outside counsel, as well as the view from inside the U.S. Copyright Office. The panel also addressed best practices and steps rights holders and their practitioners should consider in this post-Fourth Estate world.
Kastner is Co-Chair of Schnader’s Intellectual Property Practice Group. Yeung is Co-Chair of the Privacy and Data Security Practice Group, and is a member of the Intellectual Property Practice Group.
