Tim Lewis Spoke at Georgetown University Law Center Conference

Hon. Timothy K. Lewis spoke at a prominent conference at Georgetown University Law Center, “Democracy in the Balance: The Essential Role of Democratic Institutions and Norms.”

Panel discussions at the event explored challenges to longstanding democratic institutions and norms in the United States. Judge Lewis and other leading experts addressed ways to preserve the foundational aspects of our democracy and explore the potential of nonpartisan cooperation to do so. Judge Lewis spoke about the importance of an independent judiciary.

Judge Lewis, a former federal appeals judge, is co-chair of Schnader’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Practice Group and serves as a mediator, arbitrator, settlement counselor, and trial and appellate practitioner.
