William Dunlop co-authored the coursebook for the New York State Bar Association’s “Trust Your Planning” program, on May 11, 2007 at the Ramada Inn & Conference Center in Buffalo, New York. The program focused on the uses of trusts as vehicles for achieving clients’ financial planning goals. Topics included various types of trusts and their recommended uses depending on the clients’ specific situations, as well as ethical considerations faced by trust and estate planning practitioners. The seminar was designed to assist those with some basic trust and estate planning experience and should serve as a helpful review for more experienced practitioners. This course continued the popular “cycle” of statewide programs offered each spring by the Trusts and Estates Law Section.
