Edward J. Sholinsky presented “Trying a Pro Bono Case” as a CLE for Jenkins Law Library on Wednesday, April 3, 2019. Sholinsky is a partner in Schnader’s Litigation Services Department. His practice focuses on representing financial institutions and Internet-based companies in business and consumer disputes.
The CLE looked at the rewards and challenges of trying a pro bono case. Viewing the issue through the lens of a prisoner civil rights trial that resulted in a jury verdict in favor of the plaintiff, the program looked at the relationship-building and strategic decisions involved in the case.
Sholinsky previously published “Trying a Pro Bono Case: Lessons Learned and Satisfaction Earned” in The Philadelphia Lawyer, the magazine of the Philadelphia Bar Association.
