Jay Evans was a featured speaker at “When Justice Fails,” a virtual event of the Western Pennsylvania Committee of the Pennsylvania Innocence Project. The August 5, 2021 event highlighted the Project’s mission of securing the exoneration, release and restoration to society of persons who are actually innocent and have been wrongly convicted.
Evans spoke at the August 5 virtual event about the challenges, rewards and impact of his pro bono work for the Project, including preparing and filing appellate briefs and motions to free innocent individuals.
