Schnader Helps Teens in Foster Care on Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP looks forward to participating in the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service on January 15, 2018. Organized by Schnader’s Diversity Committee and its chair, Albert S. Dandridge, III, our attorneys, staff and their families will spend the day honoring King’s lifelong dedication to justice, equality, and service for the greater good.

Volunteer activities by Schnader, in partnership with Turning Points for Children, will involve an inaugural program for over 30 teenagers who will age out of foster care in 2018. The Firm will create care packages to provide the teens with some basic items to get started in their lives outside of the foster care system. Schnader will also present a day of “life skills training” for the teens, who have never had a home of their own, to give inspiration, education and support as they go out into the world on their own. The training will include issues such as: how to write a check; how to get an ID card; and how to complete a job application.

Please join us in remembering Dr. King on January 15 through your service in strengthening our community.
