The San Francisco office of Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP was established in 1999 to meet the needs of our expanding client base and to represent diverse business interests in the Bay Area and the Silicon Valley. We work with a wide variety of entrepreneurs, mid-cap companies, and Fortune 500 companies in complex litigation and transactional matters.

Attorneys in our San Francisco office also represent clients in national and international business transactions and litigation matters, working collaboratively with the lawyers in Schnader's offices in New York, Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C., Delaware, and New Jersey. Description of Practice Areas 

Creditors' Rights and Business Restructuring 

Attorneys in the San Francisco office represent debtors, creditors' committees, trustees, and parties to significant ongoing contracts with debtors in Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 bankruptcy cases filed throughout the United States, including California, Delaware, and the Southern District of New York. Their capabilities include counseling parties in connection with business transactions involving an insolvent entity and litigation concerning party's substantive rights in bankruptcy cases. The San Francisco office also works with parties involved in other non-bankruptcy debt adjustment matters such as out-of-court restructurings, receiverships, and assignments for the benefit of creditors.

Commercial Litigation

Our San Francisco attorneys have represented individuals, closely held businesses and public companies in a wide range of matters involving contracts, securities, antitrust, real estate and general commercial disputes.

Construction Law

Lawyers in Schnader's San Francisco office have extensive experience in construction law. They have represented residential and commercial builders and contractors, architects, structural and mechanical engineers, nondestructive testing specialists, and manufacturers and suppliers of building materials and construction equipment. They also have coordinated product liability litigation worldwide for domestic and offshore manufacturers.

Real Estate

They have represented money center banks in the negotiation, documentation, and restructuring of commercial real estate loans and in the sale of real estate loan portfolios; represented real estate investors in partnership, limited liability company, acquisition, sale, and lending transactions; represented lenders and investors in complex real estate litigation; and represented commercial landlords in unlawful detainer litigation, as creditors in Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases throughout the United States, and in other landlord - tenant matters.

Take US-101 North toward San Francisco. Follow the signs for the Bay Bridge. Take the Fourth Street exit onto Bryant Street. Turn left on 3rd Street. 3rd Street becomes Kearny Street when you cross Market Street. Turn left onto California Street.
