Schnader’s Aviation Practice Group is one of the most respected aviation practices in the nation. We have combined this strength with the experience of our Product Liability Practice Group to create a team devoted to defending product liability claims against the manufacturers or suppliers of products or component parts used in the aerospace industry. This team has handled litigation involving many types of aircraft and many types of component parts, including propellers, avionics, thrust reversers, engines, landing gear, and flight display systems.
This specialized field also requires knowledge of applicable FAA regulations, the General Aviation Revitalization Act of 1994, and various state statutes and regulations. Knowledge of the products at issue and the relevant statutes and regulations is critical to ensuring that all available defenses are considered. Our experience with these products gives us an edge over opposing counsel, and enables us to provide better service and obtain better results for our clients.
