On March 8, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services released a revised Employment Eligibility Verification Form, better known as a Form I-9, that all employers must use by May 7, 2013. This Alert will discuss the key revisions to the Form, and the applicable deadlines and potential penalties that may be imposed on employers that do not use the new Form I-9.
