Timothy Lewis Addresses Concerns About the Supreme Court Nomination of Brett Kavanaugh
On September 4, 2018 by SchnaderHon. Timothy K. Lewis, co-chair of Schnader’s Alternative Dispute Resolution practice group, published a paper and an op-ed addressing concerns about the Supreme Court nomination of Brett Kavanaugh.
Judge Lewis wrote “Unresolved Recusal Issues Require a Pause in the Kavanaugh Hearings” for The Brookings Institution. Co-authors for this paper are Laurence H. Tribe and Norman Eisen.
He also wrote “The Kavanaugh Nomination Must Be Paused and He Must Recuse Himself” for Politico, also with Laurence H. Tribe and Norman Eisen.
The Brookings paper was cited in this article by Jennifer Rubin in the Washington Post, as well as in testimony before the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee.
Judge Lewis, a former federal appeals judge, serves as a mediator, arbitrator, settlement counselor, and trial and appellate practitioner. He is a past co-chair of Schnader’s Appellate Practice Group.
